On May 9, following unprovoked firing by Pakistan Rangers in the Jammu Sector, the BSF destroyed a terrorist launch pad in Looni, Sialkot. BSF confirmed substantial damage to enemy posts and assets.

The Ministry of External Affairs dismissed Pakistan’s claim that India was attacking its own cities like Amritsar, calling it a "deranged fantasy" meant to spread misinformation.
📍 Background: Operation Sindoor
Earlier, India had launched Operation Sindoor, striking nine terror hubs in PoK and Pakistan in response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 civilian lives.
